I agree about the danger of provoking powerful people. I also think, who else can afford to challenge them/us? I sure can. And I can do it by telling my story, instead of telling other people what they should be doing. I am positioned to speak in ways that most people cannot do or can’t afford to do. To step away from that potential is, in my eyes, to choose death.
